Dental esthetics reaffirms the personality
Dental esthetics is an important part of facial esthetics and possibly the one that has the greatest impact on personal relationships. A beautiful smile can help you achieve personal and business goals.
The first thing to keep in mind before starting any type of cosmetic dentistry treatment is to make sure that there is no hidden oral disease and that the dentists you are seeing are experts in cosmetic dentistry with demonstrable experience.
What types of dental esthetics can we use?
Visit our clinics to explain your case. On the first visit we will perform a dental CT and a complete study, totally free of charge. In this way we will know if there are any oral problems that need to be solved prior to any treatment with any of the types of dental aesthetics. We will also inform you about the different treatments, depending on the diagnosis, and the prices of each one.
Do not doubt our professionalism, we will inform you about the best alternatives according to your situation. Book your visit today.
First we must see the objective to be achieved and make sure that there is no oral or dental problem that may hinder the treatment later or that it is better to start with another type of treatment before the cosmetic dentistry. The different techniques we use in IMOI dental clinics, both in Barcelona and Ibiza are:
- Tooth whitening. It consists of giving a homogeneous white color to all teeth. It is the most common and can be performed in several ways: with a dental laser, with dental splints and teeth whitening with LEDs.
- Use of dental veneers. Veneers are shells that are placed on top of the teeth, either to whiten them or to “hide” some kind of dental imperfection. Veneers are of different types depending on the materials used. Access each type of veneer to see its characteristics, best use and maintenance: porcelain veneers, composite dental veneers, Lumineers, Da Vinci veneers and zirconium veneers.
- Use of dental caps or crowns. Depending on the type of tooth or if the diagnosis shows a problem beyond whitening, these dental prostheses can be used and there are even cases in which the affected teeth must be removed and dental implants placed. See the previous sections for more information.
- Dental contouring. It is used to reduce or flatten the enamel that some teeth may have too much. This achieves a correct golden ratio, correcting the silhouette of an arch. Female teeth are characterized by having more curves and male teeth by being more angular and with stronger textures. This means that in some patients these oral characteristics are accentuated and need to be polished.
In the event that the dental study reveals a problem that requires orthodontics, there is no need to worry about dental esthetics, since there are very esthetic treatments available. Go to this section to learn more about esthetic and invisible orthodontics.
It is very important to have a first visit, in order to diagnose if there are any hidden oral problems before starting any type of dental aesthetics.
All our patients receive a dental CAT scan and a complete study totally free of charge in order to diagnose any problem.
