Therefore, we are prepared to treat any type of oral pathology, from prevention to the most complex clinical cases, being part of the main national dental associations.
First level professionals
The relationship of our family with Medicine and Odontostomatology began in the early twentieth century with the doctor Josep Costa Roig, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Barcelona, who practiced in Ibiza. Later, he continued with the doctor and first stomatologist of the island, Mariano Costa Ramón, and with Dr. Fernando Novell Capilla, specialist in General and Digestive System Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Our team is made up of professionals, first level dental specialists, physicians and surgeons trained in the best hospitals in the country (MIR specialists) and specialized in European and North American centers and universities. All professionals have a long experience, extensive knowledge and continuous training in the latest techniques and technologies in all branches of dentistry. This team is led by Dr. Ferran Novell, Doctor of Medicine and Odontostomatologist, specialist in surgery (Hospital de Sant Pau), with specialized training in Europe and the United States, author of numerous national and international publications and director and lecturer in Master’s programs in Surgery and Implantology.

At IMOI, we treat patients as we would like to be treated ourselves, seeking to solve their health problems in the best possible way and with the least possible discomfort. We do not seek to create problems, sell estimates or financing to reach a billing target. At IMOI we have patients, not clients.

Throughout all these years, we have incorporated the latest digital technologies in the field of dentistry, as they not only improve our work, but also the diagnosis, planning, execution and results of all treatments. Currently, in fact, we have the most cutting-edge and innovative technologiesas the iTero intraoral scannerwhich allows us to plan invisible orthodontic treatments, take impressions without using pastes that can cause nausea, and create an avatar of the mouth to simulate a treatment. Dental CT ICATwhich provides high-definition three-dimensional images, and the Nobel Biocare DTX Surgery Simulatorwith which we make a virtual 3D surgical planning, simulating the intervention, assessing what problems may arise and choosing the best possible technique.
In our clinics, we have our own operating room. In Barcelona, we also have a surgical area for outpatient surgery. In this way, we reduce the risk of complications and infections during surgeries such as, for example, the placement of dental implants, bone grafts or the extraction of teeth such as wisdom teeth.
Our surgeons, with MIR hospital training and years of experience in top level hospitals, are among the best doctors in their specialty in Spain. They are proficient in all bone reconstruction procedures, guided implantology, non-surgical implantology and zygomatic implants.. Because today, thanks to our knowledge and experience, we can place implants and prostheses even in complex cases in which a person has lost a large bone volume.
Likewise, our team of dentists is highly qualified in the field of esthetic dentistry, being pioneers in treatments of high dental esthetics and invisible orthodontics with Invisalign. In any case, we always advise you on the treatments that best suit you.
