Osteopathy is a manual therapy that uses stretching techniques, mobilizations and joint manipulations to recover those areas of the body that are altered.

Dental Osteopathy (TMJ)

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the means of union between the jaw and the head.

All the diseases that increase the pressure inside the TMJ (bruxism, occlusal overload or clenching the teeth) may deform the bone, destroy or injure the interarticular disc ligaments.

The degeneration of the TMJ causes osteoarthritis and the Craniomandibular Dysfunction Syndrome (CDS). 

Symptoms of TMJ disorder: 1. Ear pain, under the eyes or in the neck. 2. Headache. 3. Frequent muscle contractions of the neck, back of the neck or even at lumbar level. 4. Muscle pain due to the presence of trigger points.T.M.J. malfunction: 1. Clicks in T.M.J. zone. 2. T.M.J. blockade.
