Patients who follow this treatment underwent a CT scan, with that we obtained some digitized images of the patient's anatomy.
With a virtual reality program and that image file we reconstruct the patient's facial skeleton. Thus we can place implants virtually to select their best location and orientation and intervene without touching the patient. This information is sent over the Internet to a robotic plant which manufactures a surgical guide for implant placement and a provisional prosthesis.
With this system we plance the implants in the right place without cutting the gums and at the same time a temporary prosthesis on the implants at the end of surgery. The patient recovers the aesthetics and a correct function immediately, bringing life back to normal 1 hour later.
